Here's some games you can play on your own PC that will simulate the original arcade action. These

Galaxi
[DOS 325KB]
- One of the best Galaxian clones out there, Kurt Dekker did a GREAT job with this.
I wish he would make some more clones. Send in the clones! ;)

Galagon
[DOS 225KB]
- ChampGames did some really cool clones for a while, I dunno why they went out of business.
Galagon is a great clone, although unfortunately like most clones it is DOS based. Still,
if you can manage to figure out what to do in DOS, it's a great clone, 85% close to the
original!

Beautifully done page, with tons of information. Beautiful reproduction of the Galaxian
logo - nifty bonus features like Flagship Cameo, etc. A must-see!

Somewhat dated page, some broken links, but still tons of good information. Still probably the
best source of information for Galaga anywhere.

Deluxe Galaga Page
Doesn't seem to be updated frequently. Basically, a Macromedia Flash attempt at porting an old
Amiga version of Galaga. Interesting but too flash-y (pun intended). It looks like you can still
download the old Amiga version of Deluxe Galaga, but the PC version doesn'ts seem to be available.

Galaxian Restoration
Excellent page detailing the process of restoring a beat up old Galaxian cabinet to a gleaming,
working, beautiful original Galaxian standup. Lots of pictures and how-to. Useful information for
the collector or just neat to read.

Galaga: The Band
Somewhat disappointing, I was expecting information about Galaga. Apparently it's a small band
that originally met while playing Galaga. There's a little Galaga in their site, but nothing of note.
Interesting nonetheless :)

Another disappointment. Looks like Galaga, sounds like Galaga, but it's just a very simple simulation.
Good for a quick fix, but it's missing a lot.
